Studio Rent in LINEWORK

Studio rent is based on the artist commission that the studio manager(s) sets for you.

💳 Online payments
When you collect online payments for studio-based services, the payment is split automatically between you and the studio by default – essentially charging you for Studio Rent automatically for that sale.

This saves you and studio managers the hassle of having to worry about settling this later. The amount split is determined by the commission set for you by the Studio Manager.

When this happens, an invoice is automatically created for you and the studio. This invoice will automatically be marked as paid, acting as proof of payment for the rent charged.

You will find all invoices created like this in Studio Rent > Paid Invoices.

💵 Cash Payments
When cash payment is recorded for studio-based services, the sale will be displayed as an uninvoiced sale for the Studio in Studio Rent > Uninvoiced until a Studio Manager creates an invoice for you including this item.

📄 Studio Rent Invoices
Depending on how your studio handles rent, Studio Managers might create invoices for you on a regular basis to ask you to pay up rent owed – based on your studio-based sales and your commission. Any invoice they create for you will appear in Studio Rent > Invoices.
