This article is for Studio Account Managers

As a manager for a Studio Account, you can control how Linework behaves for any artist connected to your account so that it matches your studio setup and the agreement the studio has with the artist.

Note: Artist Settings are not available until an artist has accepted the invitation to connect to the studio.

How to access Artist Settings when managing your Studio Account

1 Click Artists in your navigation menu

2 Find the relevant artist and click Edit settings.

3 The artist settings sidebar will open, and it looks like this:

Artist Settings available and what they do

Studio Status

An artist's Studio Status lets you control the visibility of the artist in the calendar and anyone managing your Studio Account can manage the artist's bookings and perform client checkouts for the artist's studio-based services.

The Studio Status of an artist can either be Active or Inactive.

Artist Commission

This is the artist cut for studio-based services, like tattoo sessions and consultations. We will calculate the studio commission based on the artist's cut. Managers can track commissions owed by the artist and create invoices for Studio Rent at any time.

Auto-split sales from online payments

If you have activated online payments, studio commissions are collected from each sale completed with online payment. This saves you time by not needing to manually create invoices for studio rent.

Pricing

To help managers and the artist estimate pricing when creating new studio-based bookings, you can set default hourly rates for the artist's services.

Note: estimated pricing and final price of a service can always be changed for each individual session.

Pricing can be set for Tattoo sessions and Consultations.
