NEW FEATURES FOR STUDIO MANAGERS AND ARTISTS

Customize and send Aftercare instructions to clients

Linework now lets managers with Settings permissions create and activate aftercare instructions to enable managers and artists to send these to studio clients. You can have up to 3 active instructions at the time for your staff to choose from. This is great if you want to tailor different instructions to different client/tattoo scenarios.

Creating instructions is easy with our built in drag-and-drop builder – the sky is the limit when it comes to customization options! Create your studio instructions from scratch, or modify Linework's ready-made template. Once you have one set up, you can also use this as a template when creating new ones – helping you with brand consistency without having to do the same job twice.

Once one or more instructions are activated, these can be sent to the client in several ways:

  • During Checkout:

    • When using Online payment as the payment method: Select an instruction to give the client access after they have completed their payment.

    • After a cash or online payment is recorded, select an instruction to send to the client by email or send a link by text message.

  • From the session sidebar:

    • At any time, go to the appointment options and select 'Send aftercare instructions'.

  • From the client sidebar:

    • At any time, go to the client options and select 'Send aftercare instructions'.

Upload images to projects and session notes

In addition to the existing ability to add notes to appointments and projects, you can now upload images to share with the artist and other managers! With the new update of the Linework iOS and Android apps for artists, they can also view and upload images with their phones, which is great for sharing reference images or uploading images of work-in-progress and completed tattoos.

Linework supports:

  • Uploading up to 8 images at the time

  • png and jpg formats

  • maximum file sizes of 10MB

Batch import clients

A feature which has been out for a while is the ability to import clients and their information in batches – this is available for Linework on the Web only.

Hopefully, this allows for a smoother transition when you're looking to make the switch to Linework from an existing CRM software.

Linework currently supports importing the following for multiple clients at a time:

  • Client name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

Export your client list from your existing solution to .csv or .xls formats, then head to Studio settings -> Imports and start the process there!

Payment deposits comes to mobile apps for artists

Until now, recording cash deposits and collecting deposits with online payment has been a web-only feature. This is no longer the case with the latest update of the Linework app for artists for iOS and Android!

This allows artists to get all benefits of Linework's payment deposit features on their phone:

  • Record payment deposits made in cash

  • Request and record payment deposits with online payments

  • Manage client credit:

    • See that a payment deposit has been made by a client when creating new sessions.

    • Forfeit payment deposits, including the ability to add reasons for why they are forfeited. Forfeiting a deposit can be also be done when cancelling an appointment – great in the case of no-shows and late-cancels that violate your deposit policy.

  • In checkout for a completed appointment, add a client's credit as part of a the payment.

  • When entering session checkout, the 'final price' input field is now auto-focused with the existing estimated price value pre-filled. This makes it slightly quicker to adjust the price in this flow.
